NEC, EMC Join Hands for Data Storage Devices

On April 5 Japanese NEC and US EMC announced that they will join hands in developing, distributing, and selling data storage equipment in the Japanese and global markets. Besides co-developing storage technologies and entry-level products, they will also work on information and content management solutions. With the alliance, NEC expects to strengthen its position in the global storage market, while EMC hopes to gain more market share in Japan.
